Virtual Job Shadowing!

The Job Shadow Coalition in partnership with Career Corner TV has launched Virtual Job Shadow this month at http://www.virtualjobshadow.com. The new feature allows students and teachers to supplement their traditional job shadow activities by "virtually" exploring career opportunities right from their desktop computer.  The product is a combination of fast-paced and informative "day in the life" career videos, interactive video questions and answers, and up-to-date text information and links that help students understand the career options available to them.

An easy to use, systematic, comprehensive, multidimensional, and ecologically-based assessment protocol that can be used with people of all ages (i.e., elementary aged students through postsecondary adults). This fact sheet addresses common questions about how the ADA protects applicants with disabilities. Supports Intensity Scale Information

Comprehensive overview of the new AAMR  Supports Intensity Scale (SIS), including uses, frequently asked questions, and adapted portions from the SIS Manual, and more. The SIS is a unique assessment instrument specifically designed to measure the level of supports required by an adult with an intellectual disability in order to lead a normal, independent life in society.
